Warning Equity Investments are Risky

BlazeFund does not provide investment advice or make investment recommendations; solicit purchases, sales, or offers to buy the securities offered or displayed by the companies on its website or portal; compensate employees, agents, or other persons for such solicitation or based on the sale of securities displayed or referenced on our website/portal. Investing in equity is a risky activity, subject to market fluctuations, and there is no assurance that any appreciation in value will occur. There is also no certainty as to when an investor will get back any part of his or her investment. Equity investments by definition rank subordinate to creditors and in the event of liquidation of a company in the future, the investors may possibly lose their entire investment.

The price which investors may realize for their equity crowd fund investment and the timing for such realization are dependent on many extraneous factors such as the ability to sell shares being dependent on there being a willing buyer for such shares at an acceptable price.  Consequently, it might be difficult for an investor to cash out or realize an investment at will.

By registering on our website/portal, you agree that you understand the risks inherent with private equity investments in small/startup companies that are not traded on a stock exchange. You also confirm your understanding of the risks involved with the investment liquidity and that any investment you make will be based solely on your informed understanding of such risks and your own judgment about which investment opportunities you wish to take a chance on by investing. If you are unsure about any aspect of the information provided by a company presenting an offering on BlazeFund, you should seek advice from an independent financial adviser before making an investment in such company.

Another factor to be aware of is that there is a limited history on investee companies, most of which are recently formed entities and have no substantive operating history upon which prospective investors can evaluate likely performance. Although BlazeFund attempts to present credible venture opportunities to the community of crowd investors, it is based on partial due diligence to ensure that the possibility of fraud is minimized. BlazeFund, however, does not rate any offerings nor promote one over the other.

These risk factors are not a complete listing of all the risks involved with equity crowd funding. Prospective crowd and institutional investors should read the relevant BlazeFund investee companies' pitch documents in their entirety and consult with their own advisers before making any decision to invest.
